I taught in my university on a volunteer basis for my own faculty, for the module fundamental of genetics. Some of the students improved from midterm grade of C- to A1 and B+
I also taught biochemistry to a student in Year 2. Grade improvement from 20percentile to 80 percentile

I also tutored O and A level biology for 3 years

I taught group tuition in secondary school science and Chinese as well as primary higher Chinese and English for 6 months as part of my university community involvement. I also taught private tuition to a primary 5 girl for higher Chinese for 1 year and her grade improve from C to A . I also taught a secondary 2 boy for 6 months and his grade for science improve from B4 to A2 for final year exams

I have over 5 years of experience tutoring as well as teaching students. I was a kindergarten teacher in PAP Yio Chu Kang for two years. I also tutored at a tuition centre at Yishun Community Centre for two years. I believe that interacting with my students is very essential. This way I encourage my students to raise questions and clarify their doubts. I also ask them questions to test their understanding. A very rewarding career indeed!

I will be registering for the Diploma in Education with MOE next year July to be a qualified teacher.
