My students and I connect very quickly and I believe this is the first step to scoring well.

I've a lot of experience with IGCSE, IB, primary school students and secondary, including PSLE students. 11 years experience of teaching. All my students have improved result, like getting 3rd in class and jumping bands in their results. Recent IB students from HCI and SOTA. They have been getting 6-7 for tests Students whom i have taught for above 6 months all have at scores of above 80 for their exams. I am patient and interacts well with students and I aim to build strong foundations and give enough practice and impart the best skills possible to my students. Dec 2013- Dec 2015 Subject: English Level: Lower Secondary Student was weak in her writing. Gave her custom exercises that allowed her to improve her weak points. She scored an A2 for her end of year English paper. June 2014 - December 2015 Subject: English Level: Upper Secondary Student was scored an E for his mid year English exam paper in secondary 3. Managed to improve to a B3 for his O-levels. March 2013 - October 2013 Subject: History & Social Studies Level: Upper Secondary Student was scoring a D average. He scored an A for combined humanities for his O-levels.

I am currently tutoring full time. I was teaching English at a learning centre for 6 years and have now swapped to private tutoring. Former Copywriter whose job involves a lot of writing articles. English has always been my strongest suit and I have always admired the beautiful use of good language. I believe that one should be fluent in their language so they can successfully express themselves in various situations. Hence, I have picked English and Humanities as my main tutoring subjects to have the opportunity to help students improve. I have taught creative writing and still am teaching now. I do have materials for creative writing. Aside from the knowledge I have to impart (I was working as a copywriter), I would like to say that I have a great deal of patience for students. To always read widely from different sources and mediums is something I strongly advocate in my teaching.
