I have one year experience of teaching primary 4, secondary 1 and JC year 1 students for the following subjects of Maths, English and Science. Moreover, I provide my students with hand-written notes tailored to their needs so that they would understand the basic concepts well. I have been doing private tutoring for 4 years and continued tutoring at a local enrichment centre for another 1.5 years.

As a tutor, I coached secondary math and chemistry for mainstream, IP and IB students. I explored different pedagogy and customised the lesson plans according to the students' strengths and weaknesses.

In my stint at the enrichment centre, I also designed the chemistry curriculum and created mathematics worksheets that aligns closely to the current syllabus. Following this experience, I now create worksheets for my students that challenges them in accordance to their strengths and weaknesses.

Summary of Results:
Secondary Mathematics (taught 31 students up to date)
1) VS IP Student was failing during Sec 3,. After a year with me, he managed to achieve 88% in his final exams in sec 4.
2) 3 ACSI and 1 SJI IB Sec 1 students all achieved distinction in their EOY
3) Tanjong Katong Sec 2 student attain 94% in her final year exam.

Secondary Chemistry ( taught 24 students up to date)
1) Taught a St Nic girl for 4 months before her O levels, grade improved from F9 to A2 for her O levels.
2) 9 RGS students all attained 80% and above for their sec 3 final exams
3) Paya Lebar Methodist student improved from D7 in sec 3 finals to A1 in Prelims.

In the past I have taught students ranging from Primary 2 to University Students. Some of my accomplishments was whilst at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology I mentored students with problems on content and whilst they got 25% on the mid semester exam I helped them achieve 85% on the final exam. I have also guided students to further improve their achievement from getting 70% on their mid semester exam to 90% on their final exam.
