I have been tutoring for more than 8 years now and have helped several students in the past achieve their desired results. As every child is unique, there isn't one fixed approach to help them succeed. I have helped students who used to fail Mathematics to scoring an A by building their interest and confidence in the subject. Recently a P4 boy whom I am currently teaching scored 15/20 for his test. He used to struggle and scored an average 6 to 8 marks out of 20. I started teaching him early this year and he improved bit by bit and Math is now his favourite subject. For Malay lessons, I provide my own materials that I have designed over the years to help my students to improve their vocabulary and writing skills. Over the past 4 years, 3 of my students scored A and one scored A* for PSLE Malay. I have taught both students who come from a Malay speaking family to those that do not and have successfully guided them to scoring distinction.
