Fulltime tutor and tuition centre teacher I have 10+ years of teaching experience with 1 year in a well known tuition centre. I have taught over 80 students, all in the secondary school level, teaching Mathematics to IGCSE, IB, lower secondary and A.Maths and E.Maths to upper secondary students. I have taught IGCSE and IB students from SAIS, ACS(international), UWC, AIS, HCIS, SJII. Last 3 years since Nov 2019, all my IGCSE students (6 in total), all scored A or A in their final exams.* I’ve also tutored 2 IB students from UWC (last semester scored 7), 2 from AIS (score 6 and 7), 3 from CIS (all 7). These are year 1 IB students. My 8 graduates last year all scored 6 and 7. Most of my students come to me, barely passing their Mathematics tests and exams but over a few months, they were likely to see their results improve to at least 2-3 grades above their previous results and in their end of year examinations, a good 90% of them would be scoring As in their Mathematics papers. I have also taught students from ACS(I), SCGS, RGS, Yuying Sec etc. Some do get F9 when I start teaching them, most do get A2 and above in their O lvls, A levels or IB exams.

I have 10 years of teaching experience, started teaching back in 2010, worked at Edustation, Griffenpro Learning Hub and Oxley Education Centre before joining MOE and SAJC in 2014. I have been teaching Chemistry and Math at the O/A levels for four years. Every year, my students have managed to make at least a one grade improvement in school examinations and most make a two grade improvement (e.g. C to A) in O/A levels. Overall, 20 out of 25 of my students have obtained an A grade in national examinations. The students I taught include those from JPJC, SAJC, RVHS, HCI, BBSS as well as private candidates. I also did a teaching internship for one term at Yu Hua Secondary School (under MOE's teaching internship programme) and taught lower secondary school students Math and Chemistry. I focus on clarifying common misconceptions, reinforcing important concepts as well as sharing useful examination strategies that my students have adopted to good effect. I excel in preparing students for examinations ( one of my current students made an improvement from D to B in two terms). I also have a question bank consisting of prelim papers and topical practices that will be useful for the student in his/her revision. I am patient and am fully committed to seeing the student do well in his/her examinations.
