Experience
I am Ms (Deb) an ex-adjunct English language and literature teacher teaching for over two decades.
Trained from the University of Cambridge, registered under the Ministry Of Education, IB certified ( Western University, Canada ) and an Ex-HOD. Apart from having a Bachelor of Arts ( Hons) in English language and Literature, I have a Cambridge CELTA, TESOL for Adults and Children and a Diploma in Teaching from the University Of Cambridge.
I am also a trained IELTS, PTE and SAT trainer and currently working as an English Language and Literature teacher, training for high stake exams, and completing PGCE (International Education) from Liverpool University.
I have been tutoring O and A level students for 16 years.
I believe in student-centric lessons and employ personalized and multimodal teaching methods and QNA to keep students motivated throughout the lesson. I effectively tracks the students' progress by giving them formative and summative exams and homework at the end of every session.
