My past student from MacPherson Primary School used to score Cs in his English exams but after my unwavering guidance, has improved from C to an A and is now enjoys studying English. Also, most of students who have graduated from my programme have gone on top schools such as Raffles Institution and Hwa Chong Institution.

I am versatile, friendly and affable. Creating a comfortable environment for my students is of utmost importance. I will obtain past year exams from top schools for the students to practise. In addition, I compile never-before-seen tricky questions to ensure students have sufficient exposure.

Previously I was teaching in Loyang Sec school Teaching methods include scaffolding the students by asking questions to help them analyse the problem and also relating math skills to everyday life to help spark interest and understand the practical application. Currently teaching math in a local secondary school. My students graduated with distinction for their O and A levels despite starting out weak in math or disliking math.

I have been a private tutor since 2014, and have tutored students in both the Arts and the Sciences. I believe that home tutoring isn't only about imparting knowledge, but to also encourage and to build up the confidence of students through our interactions. With my guidance, students have witnessed impressive growth, and have managed to secure grades ranging from A1 to B3 by their O levels and final year exams, significantly improving from their former grades of C6 to F9. My JC students (GP) have also managed to clinch As and Bs for their A Levels.

Not only that, I have prior experience as a teaching intern and relief teacher for Elementary Math, Additional Math and History in a secondary school. Having tutored for three years, I am more aware of what is expected at O Levels, and hence can help students with their revision and answering techniques.

With 17 years of teaching, I am good with young children and teenagers, excellent at teaching practical and theory, and a fine pianist.
