As a teacher, I take pride in nurturing and guiding my students to develop a love for learning. My patient, caring and approachable personality has allowed me to successfully reach students of varying needs. Armed with a strong passion in teaching and my love for nurturing children, I strongly believe that an effective education roots from the love for learning. To me, every child is unique and each of them possesses different abilities and learning behaviour.

During my employment with a learning centre, I have maintained a 100% pass rate in examinations organised by International Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Association, Taiwan. Within 3 months, I passed the Grade 1 examination which was a teaching qualification equivalent. The number of students grew from merely 10 to more than 80 in just one year.
My teaching journey did not end after I left the centre. I pursued a course in teaching Phonics and was awarded distinction in Certificate in Phonics by London Teacher Training College, UK.

With a few teaching assignments currently, I continue to practise my passion and I look forward to a better growth in this profession.

I am a current Law undergraduate. I'm passionate about languages and am able to impart this passion to my students. I have been tutoring for the past 2 years and it he been a rewarding experience. I am able to teach primary school levels and up to A level subjects as well. Currently a year 2 Law undergrad at SMU. I am fluent in the English language and have experience tutoring for the past 3 years. I am able to adapt my teaching style to the learning needs of my students. I have 1 Sec 2 Exp student who has been consistently getting A under my guidance. 1 Sec 3 NA student who has now been promoted to Exp stream. And teaching JC1 General Paper to 1 student as well.
