I hold a BA(HONS) in Music, LTCL, ATCL, AMusTCL.

With 17 years of teaching, I am good with young children and teenagers, excellent at teaching practical and theory, and a fine pianist.

I am able to develop a warm personal relationship with children, make lessons fun and motivating, help them learn to enjoy music more and affirm his/her progress.
I am dedicated, helpful and understanding, able to recognise different pupils adapt different teaching method.

Also able to cope with different learning styles. I respects parents' and pupils' expectations, will plan and discuss for the short-term and long-term goal.

Teaching at De La Salle School for all levels including PSLE, for more than 10 years I have been giving tuition at Mendaki for a few years. Their grades had shown improvements such as from a fail grade to a B grade. On average, there's an improvement of 1 - 2 grades.

I graduated from RP and previously was from the course the student is. just that it changed name. I've taught a NYP student before. It was web development. I have 3 years of experience teaching my niece and nephews.They have all passed their PSLE after that with flying colours. Before that, they are failing Maths. My recent primary school students were from from woodgrove primary and evergreen primary schools, I taught them til PSLE and they achieved aggregate scores of 200 plus, they all went to express stream My teaching method will be a step by step thing. I will ask the student to do some exercises, after that i will ask the student why they manage to come up with this answers so the student will reflect upon themselves and be more self sufficient.

I have been tutoring my sons for the past 14 years all the way from Preschool to Sec 2. One scored 264 while the other scored 259 for PSLE. Both my Sons have made it to Raffles Institution with the elder one pursuing law at the University of Oxford.

I am a sincere, meticulous teacher who tries her best to ensure that the student understands the concepts well and also picks up good study discipline. Nurturing & empowering the students is something that is very important to me. I am structured and thorough with my teaching style so the student is able to learn with clarity.

I have received the SINDA Award as well as the DBS Gold Award for outstanding performance for my tertiary education.

Additionally, I have recently received a certification in Phonics (Distinction) by Teachers Training College London. This enables me to even work with preschoolers to teach them phonics and reading.
