I was teaching Maths at Maris Stella High school. I am Ex-MOE teacher, a Math Olympiad trainer and GEP Maths preparation tutor. I am trained in MO and was the organiser for a company (as an academic director) that organised SASMO and ICAS and KANGAROO and AMO and among many others I have been teaching Mathematics for the past 18 years and am very familiar with its scheme of work (SOW). I have guided primary students sitting for the GEP math qualifying test and I am well acquainted with the test questions. Currently have 3 students, 1 from Nan Chiau, 1 from Rosyth school, 1 from Saint Andrews I'm teaching Chinese for all 3 students. The Nan chiau one failed initially, after I tutor can pass. As for the other 2 students, both achieved band 1. My teaching style: a) Patient and loving with children, and passionate about guiding them with the correct values and hone the study skills. b) Instills in children the correct knowledge which allows them to keep up with the school curriculum with an actual understanding of the different subjects which, will prepare them for higher learning at a later stage in life. c) Able to provide feedback and interact with the parents/guardian.
