A PSLE teacher for 10 years when i was teaching. I was the Chief Oral Examiner & Compo marker for 10 years. I was also a teacher counselor where I trained other new school teachers. I was teaching in these schools before St Andrews Junior P2 & P3 Swiss Cottage Pr P3 & P5 Balestier Hill Pr P3 & P5 Bendemeer Pr P4 & P6 I became a full time tutor in 2014 upon my resignation on June 2013. Since 2014 I had been tutoring P4 to P6 EL Math n Science. My ex tutees stayed with me from P3 till PSLE. Generally they scored A* or A for the subjects I tutored. Before i tutored them their marks were generally in the Bs & Cs range. Some even used to fail. I do not just tutor but i do counseling to help my tutees build their confidence n giving them support in their learning. I do not believe in going to the student's place n just teach, give assignments and then leave. Building confidence n giving consistent support in their learning are very important to me.
