I believe in drafting specific studying methods and tactics to suit each individual student's learning needs to ensure they learn in the most effective way possible and gain the confidence that they can achieve their desired grades. I enjoy connecting and working together with the student and parent to build a conducive and nurturing learning environment. Through this approach, students became more interested in the subject and were more motivated to improve their results and become better. Some students even went from scoring consistent Cs to scoring As.

 I am doing full time tutoring, as I enjoy working with children and teenagers on a personal level, getting to understand them and guiding them towards achieving their potential. I have been teaching both primary and secondary school math for the past 5 years. I also teach in a well known tuition center that specializes in primary school math problem sums. The students I have taught never failed to improve either in their scores, or their attitude towards learning. I am currently teaching over 50 students in primary school from P2 to P6 as well as a handful of secondary school students, all of which I only teach Mathematics as a subject.

Some added information on how I do my lessons: For the lessons, I would first have to carry out some minor assessment to find out the areas/topics they struggle and are weak in so that we can work on it more together. I would provide my own materials for the lessons and would provide recommendations on the various types of books they can use that will fit their learning needs. Another of my specialty is actually breaking down the problem sums and application-type question into small little bite sizes for the child to understand. I will also teach concepts which enables the child to confidently master, understand and solve math sums without disliking or fearing the subject.
