I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, and graduated from the University at Buffalo (New York) and UC Berkeley (California). Prior to my overseas education, I was from Raffles Junior College and Raffles Girls' School (Secondary).

I have over 4 years’ experience teaching both foundational (basic) and advanced level English. At the advanced level, I have experience in English as a Second Language for formal report writing. I also have tutored Literature at Junior College level, with my students achieving As for their A Level Examinations.

I have also given tuition to students from Lower Primary to Upper Secondary (P1 to Sec5) in English, Mathematics, and O Level Chemistry, and have successfully raised their scores by 2 grades or more after a minimum of 6 months under my tutelage (with exception for raising a B average to an A, where the only possible improvement is one grade). I have also previously volunteered at the Ang Mo Kio Family Services Centre to provide weekly English and Mathematics tuition classes to two Primary 4 level students over a period of 6 months.
