- Temp Art Teacher for Funovator. Guide and facilitate children (preschool to primary school) to create clay figures and painting suncatchers for 1 month between Jan and Feb 2014
- 1-to-1 tutoring to two P3 students, teaching Mathematics to one and Science to another, for 3 months between Dec 2015 and Feb 2016.
- Instructor to over 50 specialist cadets when in National Service (2016 to 2018). Conducted lectures and activities for training.
- Currently teaching S4 Pure Physics 1-to-1.

Apart from my rich teaching experience, I also craft personalised notes for students to better understand their concepts as well as to better prepare them for their exams.

Brief description of my experience:
I am currently tutoring 2 students from Hougang Primary School, who are in Primary 2 (2018) and Primary 3 (2018) respectively. Both students have shown marked improvements in their biggest area of weakness - Comprehension. The Primary 2 student has progressed from scoring 0 to 8/10 for her 2017 final exam. The Primary 3 student has progressed from scoring 1/2 or 1 mark to obtaining almost full marks. For her final test in 2017, she scored 9/10 for Comprehension and 37/40 overall. Both students have also widened their vocabulary considerably.

I am also tutoring a Primary 3 (2018) student from Punggol Cove Primary School. He scored 36/40 for his 2017 EOY Paper 2 and ranked 2nd in his class for his overall English results. He is motivated to work towards obtaining full marks for future examinations.

I have another Primary 3 (2018) student from Raffles Girls Primary School. The focus of my lessons with her is Composition. I have been teaching her writing techniques and expanding her repertoire of words and phrases. She is responding well to my teaching methods and can commit what I have taught her to memory. She obtained 10/12 for her final Composition test in 2017.

Apart from my formal tutoring experience, I have guided my younger sibling for any homework and assignments related to English as well as conducted oral practice with her. I did so from her primary school days (she was from Tao Nan Primary School) until JC (she went on to study at Raffles Girls' Secondary School and subsequently, Raffles Junior College). She obtained an A* for PSLE, an A for IP Year 4 and an A for 'A' Level GP.
