My teaching method is to allow the student to map and plan their yearly pace, more importantly 'learn to learn' and would go
beyond the pace set by the school. my students find more time to develop their other skills in other areas and also learning to learn helps them to develop learning skills to apply to their other subjects as well.

I believe in the role of a teacher as a facilitator, engaging the student's thinking through inquiry, adapting teaching methods to each individual child in the course of growing the child. As I was both a Social Studies and Music teacher, I had the opportunity to interact with students from Secondary 1 to 4, across different streams, which taught me the importance of adapting teaching methods to different child. My form teachership was at the Upper Secondary levels, including 2 years of mentoring graduating students.

As I major in Social Studies (O Level), I was teaching Social Studies for close to 4 years for Secondary 3 Express, 3 Normal Academic, 4 Express and 4 Normal Academic students.

I also got the opportunity to teach General Music to Secondary 1 and 2 students, across Express, Normal Academic and Normal Technical streams for 2 years.
