I'm currently teaching P4 Maths & Science in a Primary school. I have been teaching for the last 4 years I’ve been a tutor for 6 years and running. I ran my own tuition centre at Sembawang and Pasir Ris in 2017-2018 while doing home tuitions. I was a teacher in a special education school (MOE school). I’ve got experience in teaching kids with ASD, ADHD etc. I also taught at pathlight school Out of all the students that I’ve taught. I’ve a passing rate of 100% for all students. In 2018-2018 I had 8 students. English — 5 out of 8 got A Math — 6 out of 8 got A, 2 A Stars Science — 4 out of 8 got A What’s more: - provide my own materials - work system plus breakdown for each topic - work system that is a habit that I will help each student form so that it can be reflected in their work in years to come I also have my own recommendations letter to show parent during interviews and materials to show as well.

I am now teaching Physics and A-maths at Dunman High school Previously, I taught at Cedar Girls school for pure chemistry, pure physics and lower secondary maths. I saw students who under performed in their studies during my 8 years of teaching. I would like to help students to achieve their goals and help them to realize their potential through my teaching. I motivate and encourage my students through my effort, hard work and focus explanation and analysis of result. I usually focus in teaching concept to my student so that he/she can understand the concepts well and relate the concepts to daily life activities. Besides teaching the concepts, I will give short practice questions for the student to demonstrate understanding. I will provide relevant explanation according to the student's competence and ability. Next I will provide questions that are common for O’level or for the subject and let the student try. If the student can't do it, I don't mind to explain and demonstrate how to do it again. I will assign similar questions for my students to try. I am patient with learners and am keen on helping learners to develop an appreciation for the subjects, in which I am passionate about. Beyond teaching content, I am keen on cultivating skills within these disciplines that can be applied in their everyday lives.

I graduated from NUS in 2017 with a degree (Hons with Distinction) in Chinese Studies. After my A levels, I went back to my Alma mater to teach Mandarin (lower sec) for 6 months, and have been teaching Chinese tuition throughout my 4 years of university days. I joined the Chinese Media for 2.5 years straight after graduation and am currently a full-time private tutor.
