I have been tutoring since 2014, so 7 years experience. I’ve taught English, E Math, A Math, Physics and Chem. they come from a variety of schools, from N level students to RI students. Results and improvement tend to vary according to how committed the student is, but when I see them through to O level exams they tend to get A1/A2. Prior to NUS Law, I studied at Maris Stella High School and Raffles Junior College. I have been giving private tuition for 7 years, in particular for English, E Math, A Math, Physics and Chemistry at secondary level. I specialise in Upper Secondary (Sec 3-5), with a keen focus on O-Level preparation. I have a proven track record, with ~80% of students scoring A1s and A2s for the subjects I tutored them in. My focus is on exam techniques and first principles, both of which are vital to scoring well at exams. My legal education has trained me to be a productive and efficient communicator, which is also important in getting ideas and concepts across to students.

I am a trained Gifted Education Pr0gramme (GEP) Mathematics Teacher whose school experiences includes * beginning GEP Maths teacher in the Chinese High School (2000-2006) * subject head, then HOD ICT in Raffles Institution(RI, 2007-2012) * Senior Teacher in Computing in the School of Science and Technology (SST, 2012 - 2018). Having taught students at different levels throughout my teaching career, I am well-versed with the Singapore Mathematics Curriculum from Primary to JC levels. I am patient and humorous, and is able to critically analyse students' weakness in Mathematics so as to provide the appropriate help and examples to lead them to understand the Mathematical concepts involved. In 2019, I have resigned from SST and started giving full-time private tuition.

Taught before 1 J1 H2 Chem student I believe that a strong foundation is important in every subject to understand the deeper logic better. As I just graduated from JC, I think I can teach better from perspective as a student for upper secondary and JC students. And thus, teach the concepts in a way the they will understand. I am a patient tutor who do not mind going through the same concepts but presenting them in different ways and see if the student can understand. But I do not like students that do not revise yet asking me the same question over and over again.

I have 4 years experience in giving tuition (quite a few years ago) for Secondary 3 and 4. One Secondary-4 girl has improved her grades in Chemistry from C6 to A2 and A. Math from B4 to A2. One secondary school boy (from Secondary 1 to 4) has obtained A2 in Physics and A1 in E. Maths in his O-Level examination. In recent few years, I work as a Safety Trainer and I have very good experience in teaching, coaching and consult various staff and workers with various background.

I have total of 15 students (existing and non-existing student). All students managed to improve all their result. Remarks: Scored A1 for O Level Chinese and Higher Chinese. From China but study in Singapore for 8 years.
