I have experience teaching primary school and secondary school students for both normal mathematics, as well as E and AMath. I often have younger cousins and siblings at home, who often seek my help in their academic work at least once a week either through text or in person. If I do teach you or your child, rest assured that I am available almost 24/7 to answer any question they have through a short text, even outside of tutoring hours. I will prioritise their school work that they are unable to do on their own, and give my own weekly homework (the amount of work will be adjusted according to the student's commitment to school/ external CCAs, or coping skills). I am also very flexible. If the student requires certain topics to be retaught or emphasised, I can go through with them during the session. If the student prefers me to go through the entire syllabus or be a step ahead of their teachers in class, I can do that as well. My teaching style will be based on the student's needs, which can be established in the first session before we start lesson proper.

I have taught more than 10 students over the course of 5 years, specialising in Math. I would encourage my students to like the subject by providing a fun and engaging experience. I would make reference to the student’s school notes and assessment books to ensure that we are going towards the right direction. Along the way, I will provide tips and tricks on how to excel well and create my own notes wherever possible. Hi! I'm a full-time civil engineer with a Master's degree looking for a part-time tutoring job. I do not have any formal experience or training in tutoring but I am known to be patient and helpful when it comes to teaching and helping my peers/friends get better in their academics. I currently teach a J1 student GP. We started in April 2022 so there have been no grade jumps yet. We focus on developing critical thinking and argumentative writing skills for the essay portion. For comprehension, we look at developing efficient question-answering techniques. At the same time I aim to build her english skills by communicating only in English, as well as correcting grammatical or vocabulary-based errors. She is free to contact me with questions outside of class time. I also provide self-made notes. I informally tutored students from platforms like reddit in English and General Paper by providing tips online and privately. I have marked and reviewed work they submitted to me. I identify areas for improvement and guide them to correct and hone these zones.

I make a point for all my students to enjoy Maths by play or using actual real life experience to relate to the questions. Important to get the foundation right before moving to more challenging questions. Currently teaching students from primary 1 to secondary 4 some of them have ADD, ADHD and Intellectual Disability. Part time working on a project as a Special Needs Trainer. Attended a workshop on teaching preschoolers with dyslexia. I have attended workshops conducted by Autism Resource Centre to help my daughter who has special needs, from not liking Maths to improve slowly and become her best subject. All my children had distinction for Maths and all my students had good improvement with my patient teaching. Have been giving tution since an NUS undergrad. Passion for teaching and communicating with students. Past experience: Volunteered for Reading program in CHIJ for 10 years, Catechism program in Maris Stella for 10 years and Children's Liturgy sessions for children ages 3 to 10 in Church for 10 years too.

1-year tutoring experience in a tuition center MATICA. I taught several students ranging from secondary school to JC in IGCSE as well as A levels. My teaching style is to make students do past-year-paper per topic first, and tackle the concept students find difficult from there.
