I am currently a Final Year undergraduate student in NUS, studying Business Administration with a major in Finance and Economics. I was from Dunman High School in the Integrated Programme. I took H2 Physics, H2 Chemistry, H2 Mathematics and H2 Economics (PCME), and I scored A for all of them. I had 7 Distinctions, which meant that I am strong in the languages (English and Chinese) as well. Therefore, I believe that I will be competent in teaching the subjects that I excel in. Moreover, in my current degree, I am also practising Mathematics and Economics on a regular basis, hence I believe I am able to explain higher level concepts well. I have taught a few students in the past (Mathematics, Chinese and Chemistry), and they all excelled and scored distinctions in their respective national examinations. I enjoy teaching as I am fulfilled when I am able to help others, and I do not believe in memorizing concepts. I am willing to explain concepts to students in different ways until they are able to grasp it, which I feel is the most important part of learning and excelling. I am also responsive, and I welcome students texting me and asking me about questions even outside of tuition hours. I am also open to answer and address any doubts regarding schools/universities/courses to take. I prepare my own materials for students, so that they can gain additional practice beyond school work and also broaden their horizons.

I’m currently a year 3 student studying medicine in ntu, i studied in hwa chong institution and got 90 RP for my a levels in 2022 as well as a raw score L1R5 of 6 for o levels in 2020 I’ve been teaching tuition for 3 years and I’ve volunteered with different organisations where I help teach low income students ranging from primary to secondary school. These sessions usually last 1.5-2 hours and hence I’m familiar with teaching. My previous sec 3 tutee improved from C6 to A2 in one month and my current sec 3 student improved from C6 to A1. I have my own tutoring center in China, where I teach Chinese to primary school students. In Singapore, I worked as a Chinese tutor for more than 10 years in total. I am patient with students, teach them problem-solving and writing skills, help them increase their interest in learning Chinese, and am willing to answer students' questions after tutorial.
