My name is Sean Sabastian and am 28 years old. I went to St. Andrew's JC, have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering(Hons) specializing in Mechatronics and Master's in Mechatronics. During my time in NUS, I was a Graduate Student Tutor and conducted tutorials and experimental labs within university modules to undergraduates.

I have experience in teaching Primary 5 to JC 2 and everything in between. I have been tutoring since I was 14 years old to primary school students. Ever since then , I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching.
Past JC students were from Hwa Chong JC, SAJC.

I have various teaching methods because tutoring one on one is different group teaching that I did in NUS. However, even withing tutoring, methods must be customized to the students needs because every student has different needs and abilities.

Currently I am working at A-Star Technologies and I am very familiar with the latest Science and Technology concepts.

I have been giving tuition for 2 years, specialising in English and Mathematics. My students generally range from primary 2 all the way to GEP students in their final years. However, I believe that i would be able to tackle the academic rigour of Secondary or JC students as well. My students have seen stark improvements in their results. Currently i am tutoring a primary 2 student who was getting atrocious grades in Mathematics, often getting lesser than 20 marks. However, within 2 months of being under my wings, he is currently doing extremely well and is constantly in the top 10 of his class. He actually looks forward to tuition as i am able to connect with my students very well. I have also taught a GEP student who only came to Singapore 4 years ago. As such, his command of the English language, especially in the field of oral presentation, is less than desirable. I am giving him ad-hoc tuition on oral presentations, helping him with pronunciation and intonation. On average, he gets around 14 marks for oral, however after just one lesson, he was pleased to inform me that he got 19 marks, one mark shot of a perfect score. I believe that i am able to bring out the best in my students and help them to attain academic success. Coupled with my amiable personality, leaving your child under my arms would definitely be a step in the right direction.
