I have 16 years of tutoring experience. I have been tutoring as a volunteer for 2 years to secondary 3 students in the subjects of English and Mathematics. My students have since made significant improvements from failing these subjects to A2and B3. Being in the Math Scholars Programme in my junior college gave me the opportunity to mentor my fellow peers in maths as well. I have recently been awarded an overseas scholarship for my universirty education which commences next year. Hence, I hope to be able to pass on my knowledge to students in their weaker subjects in the mean time.

I tend to focus on ensuring that my students have a firm grasp main concepts so that they may apply them fleixbly. I try to cover new topics during the school vacations and do practices during term time. I also encourage my students to compile the questions that they encounter between lessons to clarify during tuition in order to build up their confidence in those subjects.
