I have been tutoring full time for 3 years since graduating from NUS Applied Math in 2015. Math has always been my strength and I love teaching my peers and seeing them improve hence, I went into full time tutoring. I have taught in a boarding school in 2015-2016 bridging the math gap for students from mainland china. Helping them translate math from english to chinese. I also teach on average of 18 students every year. The students who are under me for A-math scored A1 A2 in 2016 and 2017. I am looking for 1 more Amath student to take up as my passion is in Amath. I have strong rigour in the subject and deep understanding due to my mathematical background in university and can provide many ways of explaining to student how to properly approach this challenging subject which most students struggle with these days. My personality is very fun loving and approachable. Students are never afraid to ask when in doubt.

I had various experience teaching and looking after a wide range of children aged 18 months to 12 years old. I used to work as a part time student care teacher cum private tutor in the evening for 1.5 years (2014-2015). Taught mostly lower primary and merely assisting the upper levels 2 tutees currently tutoring: - K1 Math & English - P1 Math & English I worked as a preschool/childcare teacher in My Little Campus (2014-2021) where i started with playgroup (PG) first then gradually upgraded to nursery 1 (N1). At the same time, i assisted other classes N2-K2 whenever their teachers were not around. Having to say this, i have Fundamental of Early Childhood Care Education (FECCE), and will be graduating with Advanced certificate in Early Years (ACEY) this year. Currently, I am working as a P1 teacher at Mindstretcher teaching Mathematics on every Sunday afternoon. ⭐ Tutoring Achievements 1 to 1 home tuition - both kids scored A & B respectively (P2) Tutored the boy in Math and Malay whilst teaching the girl in English and Math. The boy scored at least B as before he failed. Meanwhile, the girl maintained her marks for every subjects; she scored A & A*. When I worked in student care, about 2-3 students achieved better results from 40%-50%, 40%-60%. While the rest maintained 70% and above. Some of their parents did not have any expectation as long as they achieved better result above 60%.

I have over 4 years of experience in teaching Primary Maths concepts. I connect well with children and understand student learning style and develop course materials according to the requirements of the students. I provides guidance to students to improve academic performance and is able to promote independent learning among children. From 2012 - 2014, as volunteer, I have tutored small group of P6 students in Chongfu School, who have been selected by school to attend remedial lessons. After my graduation, I worked in a private school at saint Francis Institute learning and business high school inc. I taught nursery kindergarten and preparatory. Hence per day I have a 3 sessions. The first session was from 7:30-9:30 , I handled seven Kinder students . Then from 10-12, I handled 2 Nursery Students. And my last session was at the preparatory level wherein I handled only 1 pupil from 1-4 pm. I taught all subjects. English, Maths, Science, Filipino, P.E, Writing and Computer.
