I have had 2 tutees for H2 Biology, bringing one of them from a grade U in J1 to a final grade of B for A levels. The other tutee did relatively well in his first year, achieving a grade of B as well.
I'm currently studying in LKC school of medicine, year 3 as of now. I've given tuition for biology for two students at JC level, both from HCJC. The older one has just finished a levels last year, improving from a U at end of year 1 to a B at a levels. The younger tutee only did 1 year with me during J1, scoring a B at the end of the year.

Hello! Thank you for coming to my profile.

I love languages and creative writing, I enjoy interacting with children and youth. I am interested in imparting skills and knowledge to our next generation, believing that they will benefit from tuition sessions as well. I am also a caretaker for children aged between 5 - 12 years old, where I teach them conversational English/Chinese, as well as written English/Chinese.

I often volunteer to teach at study sessions or group tuitions in my church occasionally. Here, subjects I teach include English, Chinese, Creative Writing, Social Studies, and Geography.

I was offered the opportunity to return to my secondary school as an English relief-teacher upon graduating from polytechnic, but the timings were not feasible for my current schedule. Hence, I hope to be able to teach home tuition instead.

I've been motivating students and giving part time tuitions for Primary and Secondary level Mathematics and Sciences since 2014. One of my biggest success students, was a Fail grade to Highest in Cohort for the next year. The rest have jumped from B's to A's within quarter of a year both in Express and Normal stream.



I especially have a flair to help students who do not have interest for a subject/hate a subject/need motivation to do well in Mathematics or Sciences. All I do is teach 1) Strategies and techniques in approaching different type of questions, 2) Help to clarify and go through misconceptions 3) Expose the student to Type A,B,C questions 4) Work on speed and deal with time management, to answer the questions in the fastest possible method 5) Show them that MATHEMATICS is VERY DOABLE and once you get the momentum, surely the student will do well!

I have 1 year of experience teaching secondary school E-Math and A-Math to a sec 4 RI boy. His grade points for E-Math and A-Math at the end of Sec 3 Semester 1 were 3.2 and 2.8 (maximum being 4.0) respectively. After receiving my tuition for 1 year, he was able to pull his grade points for the 2 subjects up to 4.0 and 3.6 respectively at the end of Sec 4 Final Examination.
