I was a full time English teacher for 13 years in Yishun Town Secondary until Nov 2022. I have current resources on the new EL syllabus 2020. I've English resources for the current syllabus and I'm familiar with assessment requirements for lower sec G3-G1. I can prepare customised resources for my students to help them for their weighted assessments and exams as I'm very familiar with how classroom teachers conduct summative, formative & alternative modes of assessments. In between assessments, I have EL resources to build up language skills in Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening and grammar. I have taught Sec 3-4 NT, NA and Express the previous 10 years. I specialise in 1 to 1 coaching for Writing, Reading, Speaking and Listening skills. I understand what markers are looking out for in a good essay. I can familiarise students with the various questions types and text types for Writing as well as Reading.
