I tutored my cousin for H2 Chemistry for two years. She improved from D in J1 to B for J2 Prelims. In JC, I was also appointed by my Math teacher to be a tutor as part of the Peer Tutoring Programme. My tutee improved from C in Block Test 1 to A for Prelims.

I am a patient individual who will go the extra mile to help my student. In school, I was well-liked by my peers and was often approached for assistance in their school work. I also often initiated study sessions with my peers.

I had also taken on a service learning project providing free English and Math tuition to Primary 5 and 6 pupils at Lianhua Primary School.

I am currently a part time instructor for robotics and part of my job scope requires classroom management. As such, I am very aware of the importance of patience as well as understanding the needs of my students so that I can shape my teaching style to complement their learning abilities.

Thus, I have experience in handling students of different age groups, ranging from primary school students to JC students. My proficiency in Math and Chemistry is also reflected in my qualifications as well as the results of my tutees.
