I specialise in IB Economics, Biology and Chemistry HL! I personally have attained high grade 7s for all three subjects, and scored 44 points for my IB Exam! I was under the SJI IBDP scholarship while I was studying in Junior College. I was from SJI managed to get 44 points for IB in 2016. I have since taught a total of 8 students from a few schools, SJI, ACSI, ACS international and they have managed to do really well in their IB exams, scoring a range from 40-43 for their exams and getting a high 6 or 7 for the subjects that I have taught I'm going to be studying Medicine. I have been teaching for the past year, and I currently have 4 students. I have been teaching these students HL Bio, Chem and Econs for the past year. So I would know the syllabus for the SL subjects as well. I am teaching students from SJI and Hwa Chong International. Their initial scores were around grade 4 and now they have picked up and are getting high grade 6 for the recent exams and hopefully I can help them achieve grade 7 in the future exams. I put in a lot of time and dedication to each student, especially with explaining the content and the techniques to score for each subject. I understand that everyone has different learning speeds, and I will take time to plan and outline your goals for each subject. After understanding your weaknesses in each subject, I will prepare notes and questions to help the student better understand that particular topic and apply their knowledge on the questions that they will be exposed to. I am also good with IAs and EEs, I managed to achieve A for my Chemistry EE, a feat only managed by 1 other student in my batch and in previous cohorts. I am willing to offer my advice on IAs and help with research!

I have been teaching Chinese language at secondary schools and junior colleges for more than 20 years. As a testimony of his ability, he was soon promoted to Subject Head. Besides being responsible for leading a team of teachers and mentoring new colleagues, he was also involved in the curriculum design of school based Chinese language syllabus. As his reputation to come up with innovative teaching methods began to spread, he was soon transferred to the Ministry of Educations (MOE) Curriculum Planning and Development Division to plan on a ministry-wide level. His chief responsibilities included developing Chinese language textbooks to be used for all secondary schools in Singapore. He also worked closely with Singapore Examination & Assessment Board in developing both the GCE O and A level examination papers. During his three-year stint at MOE Headquarters, he gained valuable insights into the development of Chinese curriculum as well as the various forms of assessment modes. Upon completion of his stint, he returned to the schools to continue his passion – which was to focus on teaching and developing instructional materials. He faced the challenge of teaching students who were mostly English-speaking at home and were very weak in Chinese Language. Being effectively bi-lingual, he was able to use English to help his students better and eventually excel in the Chinese A level examination.
