I have helped 2 different k2 students prepare for p1 English and Math. They were able to be ahead of the syllabus by the time they entered primary school. I have also taught P2 to P5 English, Chinese and Math to students from different schools. On top of improving their grades, I have helped them lay the foundations for the next level. Currently, I have 4 preschool students for English, Math and Chinese. 1 Primary 2 student for Chinese. 2 Primary 3 students for English, Math and Science. 2 Primary 4 students for English and Chinese. 1 Secondary 3 student for Chinese. 1 Grade 8 student for English. 1 Secondary 3 student for English.

Have been teaching since 2018, have experience teaching students for PSLE and O levels in Maths and Chinese subjects. For home tuition: 1. A boy (Outram Secondary School) Taught him since P5 end of year (Have ADHD) N level-12 points, choose to go to sec 5 for O level now 2. A boy from Hua Yi Secondary Sec 2 NA, struggled to pass sec 1 end of year exam last year. 1st WA exam for maths this year he got 20/25 for maths. 3. A boy from Fajar secondary, help him for N level, managed to get 15 points and went to Ngee Ann poly 3. Taught a boy from P6, help him get to SST, and his maths results has maintain at A1/A2 level since sec 1. Now he is Sec 4 and no longer need help, can study on his own!

Music - Drum

Benjamin picked up drums at the age of 12 and has been performing since.​ He has been passionate about music and imparting his knowledge and skills and has been educating his students of different ages to have a passion in bringing out their inner musicians. Benjamin has served his National Service in the Singapore Armed Forces Band, representing Singapore at a national level in Russia and taking part in state performances such has NDP and SAF day. He has also played in some of Singapore's top ensembles and is currently the Concert Manager for the prestigious Lion City Brass Band. He is currently serving as a drummer in church and has mentored many to do the same. As a MOE registered instructor, he has led many ensembles and bands for competitions on a yearly basis. He is also a drum instructor at Dover Court International School. With the experience that he has and the burning passion to mentor the next generation of drummers, you would definitely be in good hands.

- Have been tutoring Primary School, Secondary School and JC students in English Language and General Paper since end-2016 - Took over 4 Secondary 1 classes in Raffles Girls' School as an English Language and English Literature Teacher for 3 months in 2017 - Have received training on Grammar and Linguistics from the Ministry of Education, prior to the above role - Took over 6 PSLE and O-Level classes in SmartLab Education Centre as an English Language and History Teacher for 2 months in 2018 - Took over a Primary 3 class in Agape Learning Lab as an English Language Teacher for 5 months in 2018 - Worked as an English Language/Creative Writing Curriculum Writer in The Write Connection for 6 months in 2018 - Presently: A new student of mine who had just begun lessons with me 1.5 months ago, received her J1 common test back and attained a 32/50 for Paper 2 (her first time receiving a 'pass' grade!) Teaching approach: I will first go through the essential skills in each GP component, before allowing the student to apply them into practice questions/papers (which I will supply!). So for Short Answer Comprehension Questions, I will help the student categorise each question into distinct question types, and teach him/her the correct approach for each. For the Comprehension Summary, I will be teaching the student all the different ways to paraphrase. For the Application Question, I will be running through the structure of an AQ response, while helping him/her learn the skills needed to come up with a cogent response. For the Essay, I will be asking the student which broader topics he/she is inclined towards, before zooming into the relevant skills and content needed to tackle any of such questions.
