I am now teaching in Learning Museum tuition centre, previously in Just Maths Education centre. Taught in Shuqun Sec, Pathlight sch, Xinmin Pri school. My students will get to be familiar with different types of problem solving strategies so as to build up their confidence in solving word problems. My teaching involves building up their foundation skills, understanding the concepts and to apply them in solving questions so as to prepare them for exams. I have Grade A for maths and have more than 15 years of experience. Currently coaching around 10 students. I'm also teaching in tuition centres as well. Some of my students improved by 5 to 40 marks in their SA2 exams : 1) A student from Radin Mas scored As in her prelim and psle 2020. Previously she had borderline passes in her p5 SA1. 2) A student from ACS Barker failed his P4 SA1 Maths but scored A in his SA2 Maths. 3) Another P4 student of mine from Radin Mas Primary School failed P3 Maths but showed 100% improvement during his weighed assessment at the end of the year 2021, this was a feedback from his mother. 4) I have taught Maths and Science to a boy from Zhangde Primary School since he was in P4. He scored A for Science in his psle 2020 and this year 2021, he scored both As in Maths and Science in his Secondary 1 final year exam. 5) In 2022, a P4 girl from CHIJ Kellock scored 66% in her Maths SA2. Previously she scored 35% in her SA1. Another girl from the same school scored 72% in her SA2, previously scored 64% in her SA1. 6) A student from Queenstown Primary School improved by 14 marks in her P4 SA2 Maths Exam in 2022. I can provide material and I have online teaching experience using zoom which allows annotation and a visualiser for a live teaching.

Even as a comparatively young teacher, I had recently led my current school to achieve a new CCA achievement, in emerging Champion for Song Category in the Red Cross Art Festival 2010 (National level), top three fund raising school in Singapore Red Cross Flag Day (North Distinct-2010), Excellence Unit Award¢__Ô_‹Ð Silver (2010) and sustained Community Service Award-Gold (2010). I am currently studying part time in UniSim with a degree Translation and Interpretation I was also successfully awarded UniSIM Study Award in 2009 a joint UniSIM-NTUC Sponsorship in July (2010) in recognition of my existing grades, education and academic potential. .

I also have a diploma in Education (specialization in Chinese Language in Education) from the National Education of Singapore. My training in these institutions has prepared me well to meet not only your stated requirements but also in other areas which will contribute greatly to your establishment, such as in the areas of computer software and internet operating skills. In addition to the objective skill requirements described, I have other competencies which will greatly fulfill the job requirement of a tutor. One of which is my experience with the cultural uniqueness of Singapore, having resided and been educated here since young. It has imbued me with a sense of cultivated cultural sensitivities in my interactions with diverse races in Singapore. My bilingualism in both English and Chinese with spoken English and Mandarin is in part due to my education in Singapore. In addition, I am helping out as a student ambassador in UniSIM and was featured in My Paper and UniSIM Education Fund flyer to help promote the importance of life long learning. My greatest strength however, lies in my ability to communicate and understand team dynamics.

If my informal experience may count, I coach my sister in just about all subjects - Secondary level english, math, science, geography. Basically, students should aim to know their content, then it's all down to practice.
