I have been teaching Part time for more than 15years. I am a very responsible tutor & I do have good record. For the past few years many of my students are foreigner which includes Philippines, China, Indonesian, Thai, India etc... Improvement of 10 to 20 marks in students had been shown after private tutoring for half a year. In my commercial work career, i have 17years of experience in Accounting, Media, Research, Marketing, Advertising and Training industries. I have the opportunity to communicate, liaise and train different levels of educated people during these years.



In my teaching arena, I have 2 years of experience teaching primary school students during my A-levels days. I have 8 years of teaching experience to Secondary school kids at Sunday schools in a Catholic church and am currently teaching my Pri 5 niece in preparation of her PSLE next year.



As for my teaching techniques, i would make use of school textbooks, assessments, various school papers, online teaching guides and cognitive thinking to nurture the students. I believe in using everyday real life situations as examples to explain education concepts where possible. This is to encourage and nurture the students that learning is part and parcel of everyday living where we should not shy away from it.

I actually do not have experience in being an official tutor, but have been committed in community service providing coaching for primary school students. I am able to commit myself until January, so if you are looking for a tutor to tutor your kid in primary school before lessons start I believe I am able to help so. Whereas for secondary school, I too do not have experience except for tutoring my brother as I coach him in Lower Sec Math and also Geography(which I am better at-taking A-level H2 Geo).

Have been full time tutoring IGCSE/IB math since 2012, patient and experienced, strength in effectively explaining math concepts and ensuring more thorough understanding of the topics, possess equivalent teaching skills as a school teacher, specialise in building and rebuilding foundations Currently I am teaching students from both public and international schools for Chinese, English and Maths. I have 12 students under my wings. ( UWC Dover Singapore, Malborough College Malaysia, Stamford American School, Overseas Family School, and a few local and private schools) I am also teaching Chinese to students from CIS, AIS, SJI, they are doing pretty well, getting As. As for English, I specialise in teaching the language to students who are taking English as a second language, who often do not have the language environment at home. I have taken the TESOL certificate to support my teachings. I am also effective in explaining Mathematical concepts and more importantly instill a sense of interest in the subjects I teach
