Other than practicing past year papers, my teaching techniques help students to understand key Mathematics concepts and remember formula more effectively using basic Principle of Memory/ Mind Mapping. To enhance my students¢__Ô_æ¢ learning, I also complement my teaching with audio-visual aids via selected Internet videos. These techniques are very well-received by my students. I am always able to build very good rapport with all my students.

I am a Full-time Singaporean Tutor who holds a Bachelors Degree (Honors) and Masters Degree from NUS (Engineering). Master Degree is under a scholarship awarded by NUS. My GPA score for Master Degree is 3.6 out of 4. I came from Dunman High School and Temasek Junior College and I scored distinctions for all Math subjects.
Other students are from Singapore American School (Grade 9-12), and local Sec 3-4, JC H1 and H2 maths.

I have been tutoring for more than 12 years since my undergraduate and Master degree days in NUS, specializing mainly in Mathematics.

I believe the key to achieving good grades is understanding and having a solid foundation. Hence, I always train my students to pen down summary notes after learning each topic. Teaching gives me great satisfaction and I believe the right teacher makes a great difference towards the students¢__Ô_æ¢ learning.

Majority of my students make good progress in not just the grades, but also the attitude and studying method. After all, today¢__Ô_æ¢s education is not only about academics. Parents believe that instilling the right character and values are equally important too.

As a value-added service, I also help students trouble-shoot their computer problems and I offer parents the option of allowing their kids to learn additional IT knowledge and skills during their school holidays. These IT skills have proven very useful for my life till today.

I offer IT tuition in the following areas:
i) How to build and assemble a DIY PC (hardware, software, OS, basic networking) and
ii) Basic PC Troubleshooting/ Upgrading (e.g. Wireless Networking/ Data Recovery/ PC Upgrading for desktop, laptop, Motherboard, CPU, RAM, harddisk, video card, etc).
iii) Basics of Apple MAC computer.

I have been helping my younger brother with his studies for last two years. He is now a Secondary 4 student and has been achieving consistent As for his English papers. I am currently teaching English to a Secondary 3 student. I prefer having in-depth discussions with the student about what he/she does not understand. It is extremely important for the student to clear his/her confusions or misunderstandings before attempting practices. I would encourage the student to ask me questions about school assignments and I would do my best to assist him/her.
