I have been tutoring for more than 20 years to students from Pri to University level. I taught in a tuition centre for IB English, with about 6 students from various IB schools.

For home tuition, I am coaching 2 Grade 10 IGCSE students from St Francis Methodist School for English, Maths, Science (Physics and Chemistry) and POA. The students are from China.
I also taught my own kids who are in ACS international school, for IB subjects.

In 2012, I taught 2 students Management of Business for A levels, one was an A-level student and another a uni student.

In 2014, I currently have 2 grade 9 students for Eng and Maths from UWC.

I have taught for about 5 years - lower primary. English - I will build up on the child's foundation . The initial thing I will focus on would be grammer as that is the basic. After which I will move on to building up of vocabulary as that is essential for creative writing. Math - Is all about practice. Drawing of models which allow the child to understand and make comparison. Using other illustrations so they would have a better understanding. Science - Besides understanding, its all about memorising well in order to score for their examinations. After going through each topic, I would get each student to do up their own science notes.This will cultivate in them independent learning and as the student write out their own notes , they would be able to recap what they have learnt.

I currently a teacher in Special Education School. I have 12 years of teaching experience. My student improved from a fail grade to B for PSLE Tamil. I did my O levels in ST. Margaret's Secondary School and scored an A2 I believe in motivating my students to develop a love for their subjects in order for them to do well. Currently I am teaching Pri 2 English in an International school and I have been tutoring for the past 6 yrs. I can teach from K1 to Primary 5.
