I started out full time tuition at Bradell Heights Zone 'E' RC and at several other CCs during the mid-1990s. After eight years, I continued on providing 1-on-1 private home tuition. I have been doing that ever since.
I have begun to create more interactive exercises for the primary level students so they can have more practices on actual exam questions. The website is a work in progress and I have gotten some pretty good response from users. I just hope that it is useful to all who visit. I am contactable with all my students after tuition time. Most would WhatApps me with questions from school homework or exam questions they have problems with and I'll WhatApps them back with a solution asap.

I have around 3years of tutoring experience. I am currently teaching English, maths and Chinese for pre-schoolers, English, maths, Chinese, science and higher Chinese for primary school students, as well as maths, emaths, amaths, history and geography for secondary school students. I strongly believe in my students understanding completely what they are taught as this will help them build a strong foundation in their studies. This will greatly aid them in their future pursue of studies. Thus, I come up with concepts which are easy to understand for my students. I am experienced in providing tuition to different students, including a girl with ADHD and is slow in learning as well as foreigners who came from Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia. I give a lot of encouragements when needed, and is patient towards my students. In addition to the above, I have 2years of experience providing tuition for needy children from a family service centre. This allows me to come into contact with more types of students, allowing me to better understand their needs and behavior or even their problems faced when they study.

Taught english at a church neighbourhood tuition centre for needy kids. Classes were small - about 5-10 kids. Kids would bring their homework and ask for help if they did not understand what certain words meant. Specific classes would also be held for composition writing and reading and comprehension...etc

My current students include teenagers from china who are looking to get admission into a government school in Singapore (AEIS) and upper sec students for English o level preparation.

I have taught English to under priviledged children in a church neighborhood tuition centre. Lesson plans are done to teach specific components that are tested in exams. Eg. Composition, editing, oral...etc.

I pride myself in being patient with my students as I understand the challenges they are facing in school. I was a student like them too! I feel that patience is extremely important as it helps relax the student. It lets the student know that he/she can raise any doubts in the subject without feeling pressured or scared. A student can learn better when he/she feels at ease and when lessons are conducted at the student's pace.
