I was a relief teacher in a primary school in Malaysia during the vacation of my university second year for a month's time. I taught Chinese, Maths and general subjects for primary 2 to 4. Some students were reluctant to study at first but I was able to change some of their attitudes.

I obtained A1 @UEC (Unified Exam Certificate) from Malaysian Independent Sec Sch.
I am currently (2014) tutoring a primary 6 student.

I have taught both primary 3 and secondary 1-2 students before. And I do not encourage multiple subjects taught by the same tutor as I prefer to have a more focused and in-depth discussion with the student about the subject so that they will fully internalized the logic behind rather than blind memorising.

I have been teaching for 11 years. Recent students from Boon Lay Sec, Jurong West St and Clementi Town Sec schools.

At present i have both secondary and primary level students. I have done relief teaching and am familiar with the MOE syllabus. At present i have Primary 6, Primary 5 and Primary 4 students. I also have Secondary 1, 2 and 4 level students i am teaching. My students grades have improved very well and i have been teaching them for few years now. I tend to observe the students capability and level of interest and understanding in the subjects on how to make them feel at ease during tuition to help understand and grasp the subject technically well. I have pasaion towards teaching and when my student excel and improve it gives me a sense of achievement in my job. I am keen in pursuing my profession further in the future by lecturing.

I have experience teaching both Primary & Secondary levels in a tuition centre for 10 months and also provided home tuition to 5 students ranging from P1 all the to Secondary 4 in Maths and Science. I also worked at a tuition centre for 3 years helping out with the preparation of materials, teaching and relieving of classes.

I am able to teach Chinese to Non-Chinese students as well as I have taught a student before and the student scored full marks in her recent Chinese test.

Within the 5 years of teaching music, I have taught children as young as 3 years old and have no problem teaching adults too. Building rapport with a child is extremely important when the child is learning a musical instrument. With a fun loving personality and patience I am able to engage the student and strike a good balance between learning a musical instrument and enjoying the process at the same time.
