I was from christ church secondary school and anderson junior college. From secondary school to JC, i have worked hard and i am confident i have grasped the concepts for Maths, Chemistry and Physics for O levels. In addition, throughout my years of education, i have developed a set of study methods which helps me do well in my examinations to get me to where am i today. i am confident i can help your child improve in the subject areas they are weak in and also be able to pass this set of study skills on to your child to help them excel in their examinations. I have 5 years of tutoring experience. Teaching A/E maths, chemistry and physics. I taught a lot of kids already leh, usually from Woodlands area. Woodgrove, Christ church, Woodlands ring, evergreen, riverside, fuchun Sec as well Relevant experience: 1) Secondary 4 boy from woodgrove secondary, scored A1s for E maths and for Phy/Chem in N levels and managed to get into the direct poly admission programme, which allows you to go straight to poly instead of taking O levels. 2) Primary 5 boy from townsville primary school. i only taught him for 6 months ( from june to december of his primary 5 year) he was struggling with maths, scoring about 50 marks for his mid year exams before i tutored him. For his end of year exams, he improved to more than 60 marks.

I am an active volunteer and mentor as well as a part time tutor for 3 years. My current and past assignments varies from Primary to Secondary level as well as Principles of Accounting and Projects. The volunteering assignment taught me to work with children with learning difficulties. I have developed teaching aids and customise the tutoring approach to engage them as well as enhance their learning experiences.

I have 4 students from Yew Tee Pri and Xinmin Pri school, teaching them English Maths and Science.

The nature of my Counselling degree course has allowed me to gain a high level of interest in working with children. During the pursuit of my current degree, I managed to give private tuition to 2 students who were facing difficulty in coping with the English Language. From what I have learnt in my modules, I managed to talk to the child and coached her to understand the importance of learning and not just achieving a grade. Through the child's hardwork, she was able to achieve a B grade for English Language in her PSLE score this year.

I have been tutoring over the last 8 years both on a 1-1 basis and on group basis at a couple of tuition centres . I specialize in teaching Math & Science for both the local and international syllabi (GCE/GCSE/CBSE/Adexcel/IB). Some of my local tutees have managed to secure A* for math for PSLE and A1 for math at O-levels after a continuous period 6 months with me. Much of the international students have also managed to pull-up their grades in their summatives (mini tests) and year end tests.
