I have been giving home tuition since 2013.

I have tutored a primary 5 girl till her PSLE in 2014 and a primary 3 boy till his PSLE in 2015. I taught English, Maths, Science and Chinese at the primary school level.

I am teaching a Secondary 4 girl since she was in Secondary 3, subjects include combined phy/chem, A maths and E maths.

I am also currently a relief teacher in a primary school on an ad hoc basis.

I was a triple pure science and combined humanities (geography and social studies) student in secondary school, and a PCME (h2 physics, chemistry, mathematics and h1 economics) student in junior college.

I am pursuing my undergraduate studies at NTU, Material science and engineering. Due to such commitments, I prefer tuition sessions that are 8 times a month, of 2 hours per session, but, this is negotiable. I can open up group tuition if I there are 2-5 students per class.

I have 17 years of teaching experienced as tutor with many of my students successful to achieve deep understanding of physics and fundamentally reform their entire understanding and subsequently success in taking subjects, high grades in exams, high standards in learning and passing the courses and I love to see my students as top %5 student in school. This much relies on style of teaching as I teach to learn with my students so we learn together and understand together rather than teaching what I understand. I wont leave until I make sure we have developed high level of deep understanding and practise and skills that we are able to solve exam samples from all years with different level of difficulties skilfully. This requires a combination of good understanding, how to analyse problems, how to go through them step by step and practise any existing problem exam samples so as be skilled in problem solving with minimal errors or mistakes. Kill up and have strategy to success in final exams and achieve high grades. I do tuition in such a way that my students predicts type of questions coming up what is the next exam about. They are ready for anything so be successful. I teach physics in JCO high school at bukit timah, NUS high school, and NUS physics department to undergraduate students. I have a relaxed demeanour but a very strong work ethic. I put considerable effort into my lesson preparation so that the tutoring sessions are valuable and enjoyable. I hope to build on the student's existing knowledge to achieve their full potential. I am of course guided by the needs of each student but, as a marker for the OCR exam board, I have an understanding of mark schemes and how to get the best results in coursework and examinations. I know how important it is for students to display an understanding of context, an awareness of critical responses and an ability to analyse language. This all sounds rather dry, but I hope that my delivery will be creative and thought-provoking. I use tailor-made exercises, plenary sessions and essay planning to hone these skills. In advance of each session, I prepare my own worksheets, quizzes, revision guides and annotated excerpts from the text to consolidate the learning process. My focus is more on A-level, H-level and IB physics subjects, one was from NJC for A level physics. I have more than 17 years teaching experience in teaching as tutor and 10 years in Singapore and rest in Holland and Iran.
