6 years tutoring , basically my sons during o levels , i also took POA o levels as private candidate last year to tutor my son who failed in POA sec 3 and sec 4, final results he got B3, myself got A1 as private candidat.
In terms of GP, besides the importance of having strong language , it is vital to think critically about issues and out the box analysis . In years of investment banking and consultancy, every work problem is an assessment of 'general paper' case study , to provide analysis of issues and recommend possible solutions from all factors available

I also taught GP to a JC student who was in an independent school.

Graduated 1991 at NUS , BBA degree ,over 25years banking and corporate experience, 4 years as management accountant , 5 years in merchant banking and investments, 3 years as consultant , and 10 years own enterprise doing arbitraging.

I've taught officially in a tuition centre for a year, but informally for about 2 years. Students ranged from IJ, to TPJ, to NJ.

The students from NJ went from a D or C for school exams to a B or A for A levels, the student from TP and IJ went from fail to a C/B being with me for J1. So about 1-2 grades each.

I taught in Tampines sec from 2012-2018. I have 6 years experience teaching pure and combined chemistry in a school. I have also taught tuition for the past 12 years, my graduating students generally improved by at least 2 grades after tuition. I will always prepare notes or worksheets for lessons and periodically conduct test with students to track their learning so that I can revise on areas that they are weak in. I had 10 graduating students, 7 pure science students (5 scored distinction A1 and A2), 1 B3 and 1 C5. As for combined sci students (2 distinction and 1 B3) In 2021, I had 8 graduating students, 5 pure chemistry students (2 scored A2, 3 scored B3) and 3 sci chem students ( all scored A2) Other students: 1. 1 boy from Bedok Green Secondary School, he scored E8 for Combined Chemistry SA2.. He generally showed improvement and achieved B3 for his Preliminary Examination and ultimately scored A2 for combined science during the GCE O level Examination 2. 1 girl from Crescent Girl, she scored C5 for Pure Chemistry SA2 before I started tuition with her in Nov 2014. She generally showed improvement and ultimately scored A2 for Pure Chemistry during the GCE O level Examination. ( 2 boys from Anglican High School) 1. 1 boy scored F9 for Pure Chemistry SA2 before I started tuition with him in Nov 2014. He generally showed improvement and ultimately scored B3 for Pure Chemistry during the GCE O level Examination 2. The other boy scored B4 for Pure Chemistry Prelimimary Examination before I started tuition with him He ultimately scored A2 for Pure Chemistry during the GCE O level Examination

I have been teaching for 8 years..mostly primary levels for English Maths science..have also taught lower secondary levels. My children have improved from D's to A's.
I teach children from neighbourhood schools such as pioneer pri/ west Grove/ jurong west pri/ hua yi sec schools.
The children have shown improvements in their grades from a D to A.
