I have about 1 year of tutoring experience and i teach maths. I have one student from Anchor green pri school and her grade for math improved from C to A.

Math has always been my strongest subject and i have gotten consistent As, from A star in PSLE to A1 in both Emath and Amath in sec sch and A for A levels. Currently i am a relief teacher in a secondary school and is also a part time tutor. I have about a year of experience teaching primary school and secondary school students. When i was in jc1, i taught about 5 students as an assistant tutor for half a year. Currently, i am teaching a primary 6 student and has been doing so for about half a year. Her grades improved from C to A after just a short few lessons on math. Since math is a subject that requires a lot of practise, after going through a summary of the topics, i let her do questions and practise papers. I also look for questions on topics that she is particularly weak in and push her before the exams.

I am able to motivate students and I am very patient when teaching mathematics, using different methods and examples to explain concepts. I have experience in teaching H2 Mathematics. During my time in Junior College, I was a peer tutor, whereby I taught my peers H2 Mathematics once every week. My teaching method is simple. I'll first look at the student's ability in the subject as a whole first and then identify his/her weaknesses. From there, I will tailor the lessons to tackle the weaknesses. Usually, the lessons will be more interactive in nature with a lot of student to tutor communication to ensure that the student fully understands and learns, whilst I understand their problems and weaknesses.
