I subsequently left for the private sector to become an actuary, which is an occupation requiring significant mathematical and statistical skills. I have now left the actuarial profession to explore other interests, and have some free time. As I enjoyed my teaching days, I hope to start give private maths tuition again. I have experience in private tuitions because I did that as well when I was a full time teacher. Although the gap from my official teaching days is long, I have kept in touch by tutoring my 2 children in Maths. One has already finished A-levels 2 years back and he has an "A" in Maths. Math has been a subject that i have been tutoring for quite a number of years from helping juniors, friends and my younger sibling from mastering and understanding the basic fundamentals to being able to solve more challenging and difficult problems. I really enjoy the happiness and joy when the person im helping is able to finally solve a difficult question or finally understand a concept that they were previously unsure about.
