I am a committed tutor with 3 years of meaningful experience. I am looking for a new batch of students to teach for the academic year of 2017.





I teach O/N Levels Social Studies, History and English Language. My approach is simple: I provide self-made notes to help my students grasp the essence of each and every chapter. This is done in the light of the content-heavy nature of the Humanities. My students will be taught to discern important information from unimportant ones, such that they are efficient, effective and purposeful as they revise for their national examinations.





I am also flexible in my approach such that students with different learning capabilities will not be left out. Was in the Arts Stream in Junior College and have managed to secure a position in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in National University of Singapore.

I am a 2nd upper honours graduate from NUS Mechanical Engineering and University Scholars Programme. When I was in NUS, I was a varsity athlete in NUS cross country. During my four years, I have represented the varsity in several local and overseas races. I was also awarded the Keppel Group Scholarship when I was serving my National Service. I am currently serving my bond with Keppel Group by working as an engineer in one of her subsidiaries, Keppel Singmarine Pte Ltd Now that I have been working for more than a year, my work schedule has been stabilised. As such, I am looking at ways to make use of my weekends more fruitfully. One of these avenues that I am exploring will be to give tuition to my juniors. I seek not only to help them improve their academic performance, but also to serve as a mentor and friend to them. When I was still studying, I often wished there was someone to advise me about subject combination and school choices. Now that I have the time and experience, I wish to contribute back to my juniors. My students were from neighbourhood schools such as Zhenghua Sec and Kranji Sec. I mainly taught then sciences and maths . Initial scores ranges from B4 to A2. I was able to bring them to at least a grade higher for their end of year or national exams I also taught JC students from 1 from PJC & 1 from HCJC. They got A for H2 Physics and H2 Chemistry.

I was teaching in Unity Secondary school til Nov 2025. This coming April will have contract with the school again. An experienced, patient, dedicated and result-oriented full-time tutor that has been teaching 1-to-1 and group tuition for 20years. I have experience in teaching Upper Pri, PSLE Maths/Science, A & E Maths & H1/H2 Maths & Combined/Pure@ Sci ( Phy & Chem) for local ( NT, NA ,O & A level ), international students and private candidates, JC & IP students for these past 20 years. I am also proficient in conducting online Zoom lesson. For my own academic, I achieved distinctions for PSLE Maths, both A/E Maths in O level as well as Maths in A level. I graduated with First Class Honours in Maths in University. Previously was an ex-teacher from St Anthony, Spring International School and Smart Learner. For my teaching style, I will always explain the concepts with examples such that students will understand each topics well and gain interest in the subject eventually. Students can ask me questions from their school work or assignment and I can explain the logic behind before letting them to attempt on their own. I will also set questions on my own for students to attempt. I provide my own teaching materials too and will also go through past year Pri5/6 Maths exam questions from other school papers as revision for my students before their exam. All my 6 students taking PSLE Maths/Sci last year improved their results tremendously under my guidance ( Grades improved from AL7-5 to AL1-3 for Maths and Science. For secondary students, I teach combined and pure phy/chem and A/E Maths My current students are from Bukit Panjang Government High, Crescent Girls, Yu Hua, Jurong West, Queensway respectively, grades improved from E8- C5 to A1-A2. Other 2 students from Fuhua Secondary and Hua Yi Secondary also attained slight improvement from B3 to A2 and C5 to B3. For primary level, current students come from Rulang, Westwood, Unity, Yew Tee primary schools. Grades improved from AL7-5 to AL1-3 range.

I have about 1 year A level tutoring experience. My students (graduated from JC since 2017) were from SAJC. Two of them saw grade improvements from D (prelims) to A. Another improved from U to B I was also teaching my cousin H2 A Level Maths and Physics and will prepare thoroughly for lessons. I believe that good results come with plenty of practice, especially for Maths and Science and as such, I will prepare thoroughly before lessons to ensure that my student makes full use of every tuition lesson.
