Experience
I'm currently a Part time degree student, pursuing a Bachelors in Engineering Aerospace System in Singapore School of Social Science (SUSS). I have been teaching 1 on 1 home tuition since I finished my National Service at 2014. I specialise in teaching Secondary School Maths and Physics. I'm currently working to expand my teaching capability to include primary school maths and science, which I've started this year, 2017.
Teaching Style
- I focus on getting the foundation right from lesson 1. I emphasize theory and concept over learning based on questions.
- I do my best to engage my students verbally, listening and hearing from them their understanding and opinions of the topics that we are going through. By doing this, I am constantly aware of the student's current level of understanding and also help to train their answering techniques and concept (this is especially important for physics; explanation-type questions)

- Since I have starting teaching 1 on 1 tuition part time, I've never been terminated or disrupted midway; I have followed through all my assignment till the student's major exams. (e.g sec 3 mid year to O-level)
- I am able to fulfil a close 100% attendance rate on most account. Occasionally, if I need a break or if the student's parent wants to bring the family for holiday, I'll take initiative to rearrange the tuition to another day so that we do not missed out on too many tuition sessions.
- That said, I've also maintained good communication with the parents of the students. I believed that the parents also play a strong role in the academic progress of the student. I'm more than happy to provide constant feedback and updates on our progress and I also receive advice from the parents on how to work better with the students.
