I have been teaching mainly Upper Secondary O'Level Chemistry for 2 years. Most students are able to achieve distinction for their Chemistry (both Pure Chemistry and Combined Chemistry) during their O'Level exams. My teaching style includes going through each chapter's content in detail and focusing on what each chapter requires you to remember and then doing concise summaries at the end. Throughout, I will be teaching studying and memorisation techniques to help students recall their content. After which I will practice with practice papers (provided by me). Most students appreciate my visual teaching style and how I am able to break down difficult concepts into bite size pieces and also relate them to real world context and lay man's terms for easier understanding. - A1 for Pure Chemistry in Olevels (Yishun Town Secondary School) - Chemistry Olympiad in Yishun Town Secondary School - A for H1 Chemistry in Alevels (Nanyang Junior College) - 3 years of tutoring experience, have students from Compassvale Sec, Hai Sing Catholic School, Pasir Ris Crest Sec - Inititals scores tend to be around D/C and managed to get A1 and A2

14 years of tutoring JC Maths and Chem (H1/H2) I have taught many students at this tuition centre. The longest one stayed with me from Sec 2 thru JC2. Most of them started out as JC1 students who will stay with me till they graduate. Taught students from RJ, NJ, HCI, PJ, RVHS, YJ etc Most of them can achieve at least 3 to 4 grade jumps, example D to A or U to B. If they are A then they maintain A. I started out teaching tuition in 2005, since then I'd taught 100s of students through their 2 years JC term, I have some experience teaching IBDP Chem (including discussing and designing IA and EE) and IB Math. Also taught IP students from RJC, HCI, NJC, VJC etc. I have at least 2 students each year depending on my schedule and am very familiar with the syllabus.

I am a Full Time tutor who has been in this industry for the past 10 years. I started off as a part time private tutor as i was working in the laboratories for 6 years. I have taken over 20 students over the past few years and we have reached the target we've set by far. I have successfully tutored PSLE students to reach their aim. I was a part time tutor for first year introductory economics modules in university for a year. As for my teaching style, i will start the lesson by first asking my students if there are any urgent content/homework that they need my help with. Subsequently, i will teach the content scheduled for the day's lesson. My style of teaching is to first gauge the level of understanding that the student has in the content scheduled for the day, and correct any misunderstandings before proceeding to teach new content. Once new content is taught, i will assess my student's understanding through exercises and questions before moving on. Homework depends on the student's availability as i feel that there is no point in forcing the student to do extra if their understanding of the content is sufficient.

I have been teaching IB students overseas through zoom and my students found my notes/resources very helpful as it gives them a direction in their coursework. I have also taught secondary school A math 1-1 who was failing and after only a few sessions she understood the fundamentals well as I taught with a step by step approach to solve math questions.
