I have a great skill sets to tutor students of all kinds, and I can explain math concepts in different ways until the students make sense of the concepts and most importantly, I can teach students to do well in math tests/exams. I also believe in patience teaching that focus on positive reinforcement, courtesy and perseverance in order to mold young minds to become greater minds. To me, every student is a potential leader of the tomorrow world!

Teaching approach: Primary level:Will provide videos and flash cards based on the syllabus .Will teach in a fun and interesting way so that the student will take in the information easier Secondary level:Will provide notes based on every chapter in the text book,will go through key words and techniques that will be tested in their exam.Provides practice paper catered on their chapters and certain skills such as comprehension etc.However if parents have their own assessment book that they would like to use it would also be fine. For online lessons,besides the learning materials I previously mentioned there will also be PowerPoint slides prepared so the students can learn better just like their lesson in school Track records and related experiences: Private tutor :3 years Tuition centre teacher:2 year Have taught more than 60+ students from Primary 1 to secondary 4 .All of the students have at least improved one grade higher and many achieved an A for their Psle and O levels.

Hi this is Clara, currently a poly student. I've always been keen and patient when  helping younger children with their studies and never stingy to praise them up as long as they are willing to learn. I've helped 2 students before, one of them take Chinese as a third language. Both were not so strong with their chinese foundations but gradually improved with my help. On the other hand I have also gained much experiences from teaching my own brother who is in primary school.

Conducted peer tutoring for two students in Math for one semester in 2017, Improving their grades from D7 to a B3, currently teaching a 9 year old girl how to play the piano, and am part of Project Aegis as a Math Mentor. Project Aegis is Eunoia Junior College's Alumni-initiated mentoring programme for our JC2s to aid them in their preparation of the A Levels.

I firmly believe with my vast experience in both A level as well as Polytechnic mathematical related curriculum, I am confident in delivering the required knowledges. Coming from a humble mathematical background where failing was a norm for me ignited the passion I never knew I had, from getting 27/100 to 94/100 the following year during my secondary schooling days, I am able to understand the struggles one has in understanding mathematics. I aspire to bring awareness to vast majority of students that Mathematics is far more than just numbers.
