I provided tuition when I was in NTU. Till date, I have a collective experience of 7 years in tutoring students to academic excellence.

I have students from pei Hwa, lakeside, juying, ACS. Most students started with 50s but have improved to 60s - 70s
One student started in June. Failed SA1 but scored full marks for recent CA2.

Recent Experience: This is the first time in 3 years that I am going through a tuition agency to find students for me. I had been tutoring a group of 10 secondary students for these past 3 years and they took their O levels last year. This journey started with a single student. After our first year, his peers noticed his improvement in results and change in attitude. They hoped on to the bandwagon and we had an amazing 3 years. I am glad that I was able to play a part in their character building and most importantly, helped them achieve the results they desired.

I am an ex-MOE Chemistry teacher at Meridien JC until Dec 2014, previously was teaching at TJC I have expertise and good knowledge in the A level curriculum/syllabus (having worked in MOE HQ as well in looking at the A level curriculum for 2 years 6 mths). In my last position, I was the Subject Head interested in cultivating skills and dispositions in students towards science learning and literacy, especially in preparing them for the unknown future. This is especially important now as the A level questions also require students to apply fundamental concepts in unfamiliar contexts. I do have a track record of students in my classes, achieving value-added results. My lessons will have a balance of engagement and expectations/firmness.

i have 5yrs experience as a full time tutor,i have 2 kids as well so i understand the parents concerns for their child and i strongly about learning thru playing rather then forcing the kids to study and make them lose intrest and rejective to that subject.
