I often do this by leading the student through the problem solving process by questioning and giving parallel analogies. I am committed at ensuring that the students understand what they learn and am strict during lessons. I sometimes allow the students to complete questions wrongly first to gauge where their misconception lies so that I could highlight their mistakes (In turn they are aware of the possibilities of such mistakes) and this also help me to identify where exactly the student might not have fully understand the concepts and address the issue accordingly. Understanding links between the different chapters and concepts will allow students to better remember the concepts. Secondary level: 5 years tutoring Sec 1-4 level in maths, Science, Physics, Chemistry, E/A maths. IP level: JC1 IP students from RVHS and RI. JC level: Tutored JC H2 maths and physics for 2 years. IB/IGCSE level: SL and HL maths for UWC student, IB Physics from ACSi, and IGCSE Chem and Maths for another private student.
