I am an International student currently pursuing my masters degree at NUS. Even though I belong to the Engineering field I have some teaching experience since I used to work part-time as a tutor at a local tuition center in my own country, where I used to teach Mathematics, English and Science to primary, secondary as well as a few higher secondary children. I earned several accolades from the parents of the children studying at that institution since they found that the children were extremely receptive to my teaching method and hence there was vast improvement in the children's grades as well as their ability to grasp concepts and apply them. I have also attached a copy of my academic records as well as a copy of my IELTS and GRE scores to give you a hint about my command over the subjects.

I firmly believe that every child deserves an enriching education, respect, and professionalism. I believe there are 3 main reasons why students do not excel in their examinations:
1) Students rush to read the exam questions, do not understand the question properly, thereby writing the wrong answers
2) Teachers do not break down the complex concepts into simple topics for students to grasp and understand more easily. Very little real life examples and illustrative graphs in their teaching material
3) Students spend too much time in difficult questions and have little time for the remaining questions.

I teach topics with many illustrative graphs and real-life examples and I have more than 3 year experience teaching JC students. They are from AJC, SAJC, meridian JC. They were having C-D and most of them get A-B during their final exam & A level results.
