I'm currently a lifeskills trainer and a personal coach and was previously an overseas scholar working as an integration manager at a global engineering conglomerate. Happy to provide additional guidance on college, career, and scholarship matters and life skills such as presentation, interview, leadership, academic portfolio planning, etc. as well.

I am currently supporting students from a diverse range of backgrounds and academic inclinations. Generally students have improved by about 1-2 grades within a 6-12 month period. Schools include Raffles Institution, Hwa Chong International, Kuo Chuan Presbyterian, ACS(I), SAJC, etc. and subjects coached are focused on H2 Physics / H2 Math and Upper Secondary A/E Math and Pure Physics. IB and IGCSE equivalent subjects are also covered.

I believe in using strength-based approaches, while managing weaker areas by exception. Coaching will complement learning in school through continuous monitoring and gaps in the student's understanding will be filled via topical deep-dives. Additional material will be provided based on the student's learning needs and on a piece-meal basis to facilitate pick-up. No additional charges for material.

I graduated from Imperial College London and was formerly from Hwa Chong Institution. Was the top student for Year 2 and 3 in Aeronautics Department and was awarded the Royal Aeronautical Society Prize for Excellence and All-Roundedness. Clinched the Final Year Project Computational Merit Prize.

I was a former student from Hwa Chong Institution in both high school and JC. Having started teaching 2 years ago, I have given private tutoring to students from various backgrounds ranging from A Level students from Hwa Chong JC to Sec 4 IP Students in NJC and even Sec 3 N Level Students whose results improved significantly from fails to distinctions. Currently, I am tutoring a Sec 4 O-Level student along with a JC2 student from Hwa Chong. Aspiring to be an educator in future, I wish to seize this opportunity to build my experience and lay stepping stones for my future career. In JC, I would often meet up with a group of friends who are weak in certain subjects, mainly Physics, Math and Chemistry and conduct mini informal lessons with them to help them understand the topic better and be able to catch up during lessons which are often rather quick paced. Teaching them really piqued my interest and helped myself understand the topic even better, killing two birds with one stone. Thankfully, after my two years in Hwa Chong taking 4 H2 subjects, I managed to attain a distinction for almost all my subjects in A-levels other than a C for H2 Economics and eventually the Outstanding Student Award.
