I have 15 years of tutoring experience in Secondary E Math and A Math. I have tutored many students from top schools to neighbourhood schools. All of them were inspired and started to develop interest in the tutored subjects. They eventually obtained distinctions in the O-Level Exam.

I am appointed and promoted to the position of Senior Teacher of Mathematics in 2012. I am appointed because of the strong pedagogical approach in the teaching of A Math and E Math. As a senior teacher, I mentor beginning teachers and share good teaching practices with the rest of the teachers in school.

(6) Teaching philosophy:
My method of teaching is to simplify the concepts for the students to understand. I emphasize learning by understanding and not learning by memorising. I use the students pre-knowledge to build on their current new concepts so that the students will find it easy to accept and understand.

(7) Trained in O-Level Cambridge marking:
I am trained in the Cambridge marking and able to share with the students how to score through their workings in order to gain the maximum marks in the O Level Examination.

(8) Syllabus requirement:
I am familiar with the current syllabus requirement. I was tasked to set my school A Math Prelim exam papers every year. The new syllabus requires students to have deeper understanding of the concepts learnt and I am able to explain the concepts well for the students to grasp it easily. New syllabus also focus on thinking questions and real-life application questions which I have the resources to prepare the students for the required skills too.

(9) Free Worksheets and Notes:
I provide self-prepared comprehensive notes and worksheets to my students during the course of tuition. Revision packages will be provided for the students sitting for the national exam in order for them to use it as a guide during the revision stage for the exam preparation. Students commented that my worksheets are useful to them and they like the worksheets very much as it is very easy for them to use it for revision. As a tutor who is passionate in teaching the subjects and helping the students, I am resourceful in getting the right materials for the students to help them learn well and improve.

(10) Free latest other schools' exam papers for additional practice:
Students will be provided with other schools' exam papers for additional practice during the revision period for the exam preparation.

(11) Impart useful skills and techniques for answering questions during examination
It is important for students to aim for speed and accuracy while answering exam questions. Hence students will be taught different skills and techniques to reduce careless mistakes and to increase the speed of answering questions during the lessons.
