I am confident of teaching Chemistry and Economics as I am strong in these subjects and my younger sister and friends always come to me for help when they have any problems solving the questions. I mainly taught JC Chemistry so far 2021 -1 girl from RVJC, initial A, final A -1 girl from India university, escaped to Singapore because of covid, did not have any lesson, gave 1 month of crash course, initial grade is E, final grade is B 2022 -1 boy from TMJC (initial U grade), 1 girl from TMJC (initial C grade) 1 girl from VJC (initial E grade), 1 girl from ACJC (initial B grade), awaiting results There were also many times when I came up with my own solutions and my teachers taught the class my method of solving as it is more efficient. I scored A* for PSLE Science and A1 for Chemistry for O levels. I also scored A for H2 Chemistry and Economics for A levels. I am able to upload any notes and workings during the lesson onto Google drive for my tutee to review after the lesson and answer any pending questions via Whatsapp if my tutee has any before our weekly lesson. Being an encouraging and cheerful individual, I am confident that I would be able to motivate my tutee by providing a positive environment instead of a stressful one, yet achieving results. I am a responsible female tutor who will not cancel lessons unless I fall sick. I am also able to have online lessons as I am tech savvy. I graduated from Nan Chiau High School in 2018, scored 2 points and entered Raffles Junior College. I scored 5 distinctions in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, Project Work (Rank Point: 88.75/90) Edusave Scholarships for Independent Schools (ESIS). Throughout my secondary education years, I was offered many opportunities for overseas exchange programmes and conventions with delegates from other countries. I also held many leadership positions including the Vice President of my school’s alumni. I have been giving tuition to 4 Chemistry students since my A levels ended. My students’ parents have also recommended me to their friends. My Chemistry teacher even offered me to teach in tuition centres which have approached him as my teacher is known for guarenteeing a 100% distinction in his classes. The most notable student I have would be an A grade for J2 H2 Chemistry. She is a girl from river valley high school. Her parent chose me instead of an NUS Chemistry major student after sitting through 1 lesson. For Piano, I an currently pursuing Diploma. I have been learning piano for 10 years and have been teaching 5 students.

Taught student: Sec 1 to Sec 4 o level A and E math tuition (jumped from last 8 of cohort to top 10 in cohort) went to jc - pri 5 and 6 maths, science (failed grades to 70-80 in less than a year) - pri 4 and 5 english,maths,science Guidance: I may be paid for only math tuition but generally I am also concerned about overall grades. Thus, I will give free advice and review concerning the other subjects such as humanities, language, future schools, etc. I am a patient teacher and prefer teaching students starting out at weak performance. Students have to show homework/tests on first lesson. I will use a customised way of teaching and may include additional assessment books/ time trial/ intense corrections/ mental sums/ parental counselling/ motivation/ videos/IT to aid with diagrams and understanding. I also require parents to show some level of concern for the student and to be cooperative with me when I need the child to correct careless mistakes, attitude problems, laziness, etc. Tuition to one student is only once a week for 2 hours unless otherwise requested by parents for reasons such as exam week, etc.
