I have about a year of teaching experience in schools.I have five years experience tutoring primary 3, 4, 5 and lower secondary students. I had a secondary 2 student who was in the fail range at the beginning of the year and managed to attain an A with about 3 to 5 months of tutoring. Currently the primary 4 student that I am teaching used to fail maths. He managed to obtain 80 marks for his SA1.

During my lessons, I ensure that my students' have a wider understanding of the concepts in the syllabus by exploring materials beyond the textbook.. I provide challenging problems to my able students to stretch their thinking as well, My strengths as a tutor are being able to motivate students to achieve better results and my patience towards weaker students.

I specialise in teaching Econs and I graduated with a Degree in Econs from NUS. I was teaching in NUS as a teaching assistant for Year 1 students. I have tutored A-level students from various JCs, most have made improvements under my teachings. Able to explain complex economics concepts and theorems in a manner that can be absorbed and grasped by my students. My passion lies in Economics and I love to share my knowledge to all my students. I also taught IB, IGCSE, HSC syllabus to international students. I am familiar with their curriculum and exam questions.

I was teaching in Marymount Primary school With my extensive years of teaching experience, I am well-versed in the primary school academic syllabus. I specialise mainly in PSLE English, Maths and Science. Additionally, I have also taught AEIS to students from China, Indonesia, Thailand, etc. and SPERS to returning Singaporean students from China, Indonesia, etc. With a collection of over 20 years of past papers, not only have I compiled materials which effectively reinforce understanding of concepts, I am also able to create drills on the spot in the event where students have exhausted all other sources of practice available. Master’s Degree with child psychology background I have taught children from a diversified family backgrounds as well as children with special needs. I am able to spot students’ weaknesses and tackle the problem effectively. Over the years, I have developed various learning strategies which have benefited many pupils. Dedicated to students As a full-time tutor, I am able to provide my students with my utmost attention. I developed customised drills for students who needed special guidance and creative learning aids.
