Experience
With over four decades of tutoring experience and 15 years of service as a full-time MOE Chinese teacher, I bring deep expertise in curriculum delivery, differentiated instruction, and academic coaching. My ability to consistently help students progress—often transforming borderline passes into strong Achievement Levels—is backed by a methodical teaching style and a strong foundation in the MOE syllabus.
I strive to make Chinese language learning meaningful and accessible by using quality resources and adapting strategies to suit individual student needs. Commitment to Tuition
With over 40 years of experience tutoring the Chinese language—15 of which were spent as a full-time teacher in an MOE primary school—I am deeply committed to the academic and personal growth of every student I work with. I have consistently supported learners across a wide range of levels, from Primary 1 to Secondary 4, tailoring each lesson to suit individual learning needs and the MOE syllabus.
My long-term dedication is reflected in my tutoring relationships, many of which span multiple years, guiding students from early primary through critical examination stages. I invest time in crafting personalised worksheets, using reputable assessment resources, and focusing on structured, results-driven instruction. Whether preparing students for national exams or helping adult learners meet specific goals—as I did with two missionary learners in 2003—I prioritise outcomes without compromising student confidence or well-being.
Above all, my commitment is shown through the progress my students achieve, including improvements from Achievement Level (AL) 6 to AL2, and the trust parents place in me year after year.
