I obtained a Bachelor¢__Ô_æ¢s Degree in Mathematics with a good GPA of 4.31/5. During my polytechnic years I have demonstrated consistent results with straight distinction for my Applied Engineering Mathematics. My passion lies not only on math and delivering good results but also inspiring young minds. For the past 5 years I was in a tertiary environment doing academic research and project development not only for the institution but also occasionally involve in coaching final year project students. I have been teaching Maths for 5 years, ranging from Pri 1 to Sec 5. Different students have different approaches towards learning. My strategy is to understand the students first and then find a suitable approach for each of them. A Maths/E Maths can be a challenging subject, as one not only has to understand the concept and be able to apply, one also has to understand their weaknesses to combat their carelessness. I strive to motivate and inspire them to bring out their optimal capabilities and for them to feel accomplished about it. Achievements: Express students who started off with marginal passes/ fails managed to score distinctions (A1s and A2s) in O'levels; NA students managed to score B3s in O'levels. 1 NA student scored distinctions in both A/E Maths in NA level and ranked second in school, top cohort in Maths.

I am an ex-MOE teacher at Anderson Secondary school and recently also taught at North View Sec school on a contract basis. I teach English and POA.
Now I am a fulltime tutor with students from P3 to Sec 4 level.

I worked as an accountant in the civil service and Big 4 accounting firms before joining the teaching service in 2009. I specialised in teaching Principles of Accounts and English, mostly to graduating students in secondary school. I am familiar with both old and new syllabus for both subjects and have ready notes and resources to aid my students improve in the subject.
